Even the most sophisticated software systems can only carry the designer part of the way along the road to ideal performance. Several frame geometries were tried and proof tested before the final version was decided upon. The constant development provided more accurate data that was then be fed back into the modelling software.

Carbon fibre technology is now a well established material, but the way in which it is used and placed continues to evolve in the quest for the optimum lightweight, durable and structural performance. We believe we have found the perfect balance between stiffness and compliance which is so important to the rider experience. This could only be achieved through the combination of powerful modelling software and the motivation to keep improving the designs. This is the philosophy of bf1systems and the Factor001 project.
